QUF

Pronounced as ‘r’ in French, “quf” is the 24th letter in the Persian alphabet. Besides, "Quf" is the name of a Persian mythical mountain that grounds the earth and the sun rises from and sets behind it. In Persian literature, the “Quf” mountain is a metaphor for the unreachable farthest place on earth. Persian mystics believe that Phoenix (Simurgh/Seemorq) lives on the top of the “Quf” mountain. Using the letter quf next to a feather, with a reference to the “Quf” mountain and Phoenix, we, in Tima Studio, wanted to bring all the meaning and stories that these two symbols carry with our design to the everyday life of our precious audience/customers.
